The Angelina County Veterans Day Parade Committee is proud to announce the 5TH Annual Veterans Day Parade. This idea started when two co-workers at the Charles Wilson VA Clinic wondered why there was not a parade honoring veterans in Lufkin. Through the past four years the committee has grown and worked together to make the event larger each year. The idea of our community coming together to honor all that gave the ultimate price while serving their country is certainly the basis for the parade. It is true 'All gave some and some gave all'. There is a dream we are working for; a true full day of veteran days activities. Help us achieve our dream by participating, observing and/or donating to this worthwhile event. What better way to spend part of your day than to honor the men and women who have served and those that continue to preserve our freedom!

Fund Raiser
Funds for the 2007 Lufkin Veterans Day Parade were made possible through our sponsorship (see right side panel) and the Jason Allen Concert held At the Lufkin Civic Center.Opening for Jason Allen will be Wesley Sligar. Tickets can be purchased at any Huntington State Bank location. Doors open at 6:00 pm, show begins at 8:00 pm
